The phone rings hardest when the room is fullest — so let it be answered.
At 7pm your host is seating a party, running a waitlist and watching the door. The phone is the one thing nobody can get to. Sí Call answers it on the first ring — books the table, answers the hours-and-parking questions, reads the menu back from what you verified, and puts a person on anything it should not answer itself.

Calls we handle for restaurants.
The calls that arrive mid-service, when the host stand is three deep and the phone is the thing that has to wait. Each one answered, and written down.
Allergy questions go to a person.
Most of what a receptionist is worth is what it answers. On this one subject, what it is worth is what it refuses to answer. A written example of where the line sits.
Restaurant FAQ.
Does it answer while we are in the middle of service?
That is the point. The phone rings hardest at 7pm, which is exactly when nobody can reach it. Sí Call answers every call on the first ring, however many come at once.
Where do the menu answers come from?
From a menu you enter and verify in your dashboard — items, prices and modifiers. The receptionist answers from that and nothing else. If something is not on it, it says so rather than improvising.
Will it tell a caller a dish is safe for their allergy?
No. It reports what your menu records, it raises shared-kitchen risk on its own, and for anything it cannot stand behind it takes a number and has a person call back. A confident wrong answer here is the worst thing a receptionist can do.
Does it take food orders?
Not yet on your line. Order taking is built and under test, and it is not something we will switch on for you until it has handled real calls end to end. Reservations, hours and menu questions work today.
Do we need a new phone number?
No. Forward the number already on your door and your listings, and callers never see a change.
What happens with a large party or a buyout?
It does not book them blind. It takes the party size, the date, what they are celebrating and a number, and files it for whoever handles your events.
A missed call at 7pm is an empty table at 8.
A caller who cannot get through does not leave a message. They book somewhere else, and you never learn it happened — which is what makes this the hardest loss in the business to see.
Put your own covers and average check against your own missed-call rate rather than taking a number from us.
Run your own figures on the ROI calculator.
A host who never leaves the stand.
Forward the number on your door to Sí Call in about ten minutes — set your hours, enter your menu, and let it take the 7pm reservation, the holiday-hours question, and the call that came in after you locked up.
