AI receptionist demo

Talk to Sí Call in your browser. One minute, a microphone, no sign-up.

Ask how it works, or try a sample call: you play a customer, and it answers as the receptionist for a business like yours, making up prices and open times as it goes. Nothing you book is real.

Plans open at launch. Nothing can be bought yet, and features marked “Coming soon” aren’t built yet.

The demo

Press Start, then talk.

The conversation runs right here on this page and ends by itself after one minute. Your microphone stays closed until you press Start session.

  1. Press Start session. That accepts the notice printed under the button. Your browser then asks for the microphone.
  2. Say hello, or ask for a sample call.Ask what Sí Call does, or play a customer and let it answer as the receptionist.
  3. Open the transcript.Show transcript follows the conversation as text. End call stops it whenever you like.

Try Sí Call

Ready when you are

Start the session, then talk naturally with Sí Call.

What can I ask?
  • “How would you answer calls for my business?”
  • “Can we try a customer calling to book an appointment?”
  • “What happens when a caller needs a person?”

Ask a question or try a sample call. Sample bookings are examples only.

What to say

Not sure what to say? Start here.

The demo is Sí Call’s own AI receptionist. It can talk about the product, or run a sample call for a business like yours. Pick a line and say it in your own words.

Ask about Sí Call

  • “What happens to my calls while I’m on a job?”
  • “How would you answer calls for my salon?”
  • “What happens when a caller needs a person?”

It answers from Sí Call’s product details. Ask about prices and it’s set up to point you to the pricing page instead of making one up.

Try a sample call

  • “Can we try a sample call? I’ll be the customer.”
  • “My kitchen sink is blocked. Can someone come Thursday?”
  • “How much would that be?”
  • “Yes, book it.”

It’s set up to say first that it will make up prices and open times, then answer as the receptionist and read the booking back before it confirms.

Push on it

  • “Actually, make it Friday.”
  • “Your website says it’s $100.”
  • “Is that actually booked?”

It’s set up to change only the day, stand by the price it quoted and offer a check with the team, and step out of the sample to say nothing real was booked.

An example of how a conversation can go. Yours will differ: the replies are generated as you talk, and the price is made up.
What it is

What the demo shows, and what it doesn’t.

It shows how a conversation with Sí Call flows: the notice, the questions, the recap before a booking. It isn’t your phone line, your business info or a real appointment.

  • Sí Call’s AI, in your browser.

The notice under Start session says you’re talking to an AI and that the call may be recorded, and its opening line is set up to say the same. Then you lead: ask about the product, or try a sample call.

  • The sample-call details are made up.

For a sample call it invents the prices, open times and business details it needs, and says so before the first one.

    Example
  • Nothing real gets booked.

A booking is confirmed out loud only. No appointment, message, lead or text is created or sent, and nobody is expecting you.

  • It doesn’t know your business.

The demo has none of your hours, services or answers. On real calls, Sí Call answers from the business info you add.

  • Not the voice setup on your line.

The demo runs on a voice model from OpenAI. Calls Sí Call answers for a business run on a separate setup, so the voice, timing and wording differ.

  • One minute, then it hangs up.

A timer shows the time left. End call stops it sooner, and Try Again starts a new conversation.

Your voice and the transcript

Where what you say goes.

Step by step, from how this page is built. In short: your voice goes to the voice service while you talk, and the transcript is saved in this browser, not on Sí Call’s servers.

  1. Before you press Start

The microphone stays closed. The notice under the button says it’s an AI and the call may be recorded. Pressing Start session accepts it, with our Terms and Privacy Policy.

  2. When you press Start

Your browser asks Sí Call’s server for a short-lived key to the voice service. Only once it has one does it ask for your microphone.

  3. While you talk

Your voice goes from your browser to OpenAI’s voice service, which runs the conversation and writes both sides down as text. It doesn’t pass through Sí Call’s servers.

  4. When the call ends

End call, or the end of the minute, saves it in this browser. The same save deletes saved demo calls over seven days old and keeps 50 at most.

  • In this browser: Your saved demo calls

    • The transcript, when the call happened, how long it ran and a rough mood guess made from its words.
    • Kept until you clear them, or until a later demo call clears out the ones over seven days old.
    • “Clear demo history from this browser” appears after each call and deletes them all.
    • While the tab is open, a note of whether the voice service was reachable.
  • On Sí Call’s servers: No audio and no transcript

    • A log line that a demo session started.
    • A count of demo starts from your network address, used to allow five a minute.
    • Where product analytics is switched on, a count that a demo began, with nothing you said attached.
  • With OpenAI: The conversation itself

    • Your audio, and the transcript its voice service writes from it. How long OpenAI keeps them is set by OpenAI’s API data terms, not by Sí Call.
    • Sí Call’s code keeps no copy of the audio, in this browser or on its servers.

How calls on a real Sí Call line are handled

Questions

Questions about the demo.

Short answers on what it needs, what it is, and what happens to the conversation afterwards.

Do I need an account, or to pay?

No. There’s no account, no card and nothing to buy: plans open at launch. Press Start session, allow the microphone, and talk for up to a minute. If you want Sí Call on your own line, you can pledge a Founding 50 spot. Pledging is free, needs no card, and you can withdraw any time.

Why does my browser ask for the microphone?

The demo is a spoken conversation, so it needs to hear you. The browser asks only after you press Start session, and the page doesn’t open the microphone before then. If you say no, the demo can’t start; you can change the permission in your browser’s site settings and try again.

Is this what my callers would get?

Not exactly. The browser demo runs on a voice model from OpenAI, and the calls Sí Call answers for a business run on a separate voice setup. The demo shows how a conversation flows: the notice, the questions, the recap. The voice, timing and wording on your line will differ, and there it answers from your business info instead of making things up.

Does it know anything about my business?

No. It has none of your hours, services or prices, so in a sample call it makes them up and says so first. On real calls, Sí Call answers from the business info you add: your hours, services and answers to common questions. When it can’t help, it takes a message: who called, their number and what they need.

Does it book a real appointment?

No. In a sample call it can offer made-up times, quote a made-up price and confirm the booking out loud, but nothing is written to a calendar and nobody is expecting you. On a real line, Sí Call checks your open times and books the slot the caller picks, on a connected Google Calendar or Sí Call’s built-in calendar. At launch

What happens to what I say?

Your voice goes from your browser to OpenAI’s voice service, which runs the conversation and writes the transcript. When the call ends, this browser saves the transcript; demo calls saved more than seven days ago are deleted the next time one is saved, and a button after each call clears them all. Sí Call’s servers don’t receive your audio or the transcript.

Why did it stop after a minute?

Each browser demo is capped at one minute, and a timer shows the time left. When it runs out, the call ends and this browser saves the transcript. Press Try Again to start a new conversation. It starts fresh, without anything you said the last time.

It didn’t catch what I said. What helps?

Before you start, open Audio settings: choose your microphone, and pick “Headset or close microphone” if you’re wearing one, which helps with background noise. You can pick the receptionist’s voice there too. A quiet room helps. During a call, Audio settings lets you switch microphones without hanging up.
