Hours & routing
Your receptionist answers around the clock. Business hours tell it what to say and do when you are open, closed, or on holiday.
Always answered, hours-aware
The receptionist picks up 24/7 — hours do not switch it off. Instead, they shape what it says: it references your posted hours when callers ask, offers to take a message or arrange a callback for after-hours callers, and can still book appointments into open slots around the clock. Human transfer works whenever an escalation number is configured — it is not limited to business hours.
Setting your schedule
- Weekly hours — one or more open ranges per weekday (for example 09:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00 to model a lunch break).
- Holidays — specific dates marked fully closed or with modified hours; the receptionist tells callers it is a holiday closure.
- Timezone — all checks run in your business timezone, so daylight-saving changes are handled for you.
Routing choices
Two settings decide where calls go beyond the receptionist itself: the escalation phone number (where urgent or human-requested calls are transferred — see “Human transfer”), and your booking connection (which calendar receives appointments — see Connections in the app).
